About this Work

"a.ka(eɪ keɪ eɪ)"[1] is a work created in 2002[2] using programs called "Max" and "Nato.0+55+3d."
The title comes from the words "anode" and "cathode," referring to positive and negative electrical terminals.

In this piece, I improvisationally manipulated the images along with the transitions of the music as I listened to one piano song all the way through. Manipulating images over a certain period of time is more similar to a showing of shadow pictures than a movie.
